Our Home Safety Check is a free 30-minute visit from a licensed physical therapist. We walk through your home, look for common fall risks, and give simple, practical recommendations to help you stay safe and independent.
Who is the Home Safety Check for?
It’s perfect for older adults, anyone recovering from an injury or surgery, or anyone who wants to make their home safer without spending money on expensive equipment or renovations.
What happens during the Home Safety Check?
Your therapist will look at key areas like flooring, lighting, steps, bathrooms, and walkways. We’ll also watch how you move around your home and check balance and mobility so we can give personalized tips that fit your lifestyle.
Is the Home Safety Check really free?
Yes—completely free. There’s no obligation to start physical therapy afterward. We offer this service because we believe safety and independence begin at home.
Do you offer in-home physical therapy if I need more help?
Yes. If you’d benefit from additional care, we provide Medicare-covered in-home physical therapy. Your therapist can explain your options and help you decide what’s best for your goals.
