Education and prevention guidance

This assessment does not automatically start physical therapy.

Those seeking guidance without committing to therapy

Who This Is Not For

Individuals requiring urgent medical treatment

People already enrolled in physical therapy

Those seeking skilled rehabilitation services

MAHA or community prevention programs

What Happens After the Assessment

Based on findings, individuals may:

Continue independently with education

Monitor mobility changes over time

Be guided toward physical therapy if medically necessary

How long does a fall risk assessment take?

Most visits take about 60 minutes.

Does this replace physical therapy?

No. This assessment helps determine whether therapy is appropriate, but does not replace skilled care.

Is this covered by Medicare?

Medicare does not cover preventive assessments. This service is non-Medicare.

Can family members be present?

Yes. Family involvement is encouraged.
